Heidelberg goes cricket crazy – over 750 children introduced to cricket
DCB member TSG Rohrbach in Heidelberg has taken the DCB’s call for more youth cricket development seriously and has put a programme together that will see over 750 children taking part in summer camps during the 2012 summer.
Club co-ordinator Ajay Pasuvula has already introduced cricket into schools in the area as well as running a short camp over the recent bank holiday weekend.
A summer camp at TSG Rohrbach that will see over 250 children become acquainted with cricket will take place over five days in August. Additionally, an agreement with the English Institute in Heidelberg will see an amazing 500 children play cricket for the first time in the middle of July.
