NRWCU win DCB County Championship for second year

The glorious summer sun which had graced the country earlier in the week was rudely ousted by torrential storms on the day of Germany's prestigious national Championship match between hosts Hessen and defenders Nordrhein-Westfalen. DCB Umpires Hoshang Kharadi and Keith Thompson had no option but to delay the start of the game by one hour and reduce both innings to 42 overs as the hosts worked hard to dry the sodden pitch and outfield. [

St. Georges School in Köln - 368 children learn cricket

As an international school, St. George’s has long been keen to embrace cricket as a sport for the pupils. During the summer term, all pupils aged 7 – 14 learn cricket as part of their regular sport lessons. That means that we currently have 368 children, boys and girls, doing 90 minutes of cricket each week. We also have two after school cricket clubs, one for the Primary school pupils and one for those in Middle School. (mit Bildergalerie) [
