DCB proud to announce first national performance centre in Krefeld (English version)

The DCB is today proud to announce the construction of a national cricket performance centre, together with our partners SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen in Krefeld, NRW.
By Christmas we will have constructed a three lane indoor training net facility together with British company EZYnet, owned by former England player Neal Radford.
Outdoors we are constructing an international standard cricket facility with sightscreens, electric scoreboard as well as everything else that goes along with such a ground.
Krefeld will be the location for training camps for all of our national teams as well as international matches and tournaments.
It is a significant step in our development and gives us facilities on a par with all of our neighbouring countries and something we can be proud of.
DCB president Siegfried Franz commented, „The construction of this performance centre in Krefeld is a dream come true for the DCB. We would like to thank the board and management of SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen, the city of Krefeld as well as the ICC for their unbureacratic and friendly collaboration as well as their financial support. Building this performance centre in Krefeld is a milestone in German cricket and we are already looking forward to the first matches and training camps that take place there.“
Dennis Gerritzen from Bayer Uerdingen said „SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen sees incredible potential in the sport of cricket in central Europe. For this reason we are delighted that the management of the DCB have decided to build their performance centre in Krefeld-Uerdingen.“
