DCB seals lucrative sponsorship deal with SKYEXCH

The DCB is delighted to announce that a lucrative sponsorship deal has been signed with SKYEXCH (skyexch.net) for the home T20is matches for our men’s national team. The recent home tri –series with Austria and Sweden was sponsored by SKYEXCH, allowing the DCB to stream the games worldwide in cooperation with the European Cricket Network.

Cricket in Europe, and particularly Germany, has grown significantly in recent years and SKYEXCH has always been the first to step up and support such initiatives when it comes to boosting cricket’s popularity worldwide.

Ian Michael Viner, the Managing Director of Skyinfotech Ltd, the group which owns the license for the SKYEXCH brand said that “SKYEXCH is excited to sponsor and witness some shining stars coming out of the tournament in Germany”

DCB CEO Brian Mantle commented, “We are grateful for the support of SKYEXCH in sponsoring our home men’s international matches. This is the first time that we have managed to attract sponsors for T20is in Germany and the financial support will help us to grow cricket in Germany, for men, women and juniors.”

The deal was facilitated by our new partners REDSTRIKE (www.redstrike.com) who are a leading sports business active across many sports worldwide, including football, F1, cricket and rugby. Group Commercial Director Dennis Cousins said “the rise of cricket as one of the fastest growing sports in Germany has been hugely impressive and is testament to the work done by Brian Mantle and his team. Redstrike are delighted to partner with German cricket for what was an exciting series that was watched by millions globally.”
