The German Cricket Federation (DCB) is delighted to announce a three-year sponsorship deal with Indian cricket equipment manufacturer EM Sports.
EM Sports is a major player in the production and sale of high quality cricket bats and soft leather goods such as pads, gloves and thigh guards.
As part of the deal, EM Sports has agreed to supply our three national team squads with high quality cricket equipment for the duration of the contract and will mean that our men’s, women’s and Under 19 squads will have access to the best equipment available on the market at no cost to the player or the DCB.
DCB CEO Brian Mantle commented, “This deal is good news for our national team players and our members. It is a sign that the success of our national teams over the last years is interesting for sponsors and this will save the DCB a large amount of investment. Our members will benefit from easy access to high quality equipment with special prices, something that is always a challenge in the EU.”
EM Sports MD Vineet Sareen commented, “We are delighted and excited to be partners with the DCB. This partnership will only help grow cricket in Germany. Our aim is to give the best equipment to the players and support them in their quest to be the best. Looking forward to this partnership.”
The men’s team has already received their equipment and are delighted with the quality.
National team bowler Sri Vishnu Elam Bharathi said that he is “delighted to be associated with EM Sports” and that the equipment offers “ultimate comfort and protection.
Batter Talha Khan praised the soft leather equipment and said that “it helps the national team players significantly because of the high amount of games being played means that there is a need for high quality long-lasting equipment.
As part of the contract, EM Sports will be offering their equipment at good rates to DCB members and players as they enter the European market. The DCB and EM Sports will be in contact with members soon to let them know how they can take advantage of this offer.
